Hi, Can you advise how I can keep my client's .html page extensions after I convert the pages to .php?
Also, is this something the Permalinks plug in can do more easily.
I know there is a simple htaccess step, but I can't find the authoritative way to do it with cmsb.
This client has great seo for their products with the .html and I don't want to interfer with that.

Hi there
I'm not an SEO expert, but I think the best solution is to do it through .htaccess. You can keep the .html extension, and add a line to your .htaccess file that specifies that .html files should be executed as if they were .php. It won't affect any plain HTML files.
The line is as follows:
AddType application/x-httpd-php .htm .html
This isn't something you can do easily in CMSB, as far as I know. Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best ones?
