Hi Jeff, I'm not 100% sure about this. We could do it custom but there might be an easier way. I'll refer it to another dev here and see what we come up with.

Hi Jeff

Just to give you an update on this - right now it seems that it would have to be custom coded. I'll pass it up to Dave and get his feedback on whether this is intended behaviour in CMSBuilder.

Hi claire

thanks for your responses. I wonder if you have heard from Dave as to whether it is intended behaviour?

Hi Jeff

I've discussed it with the other devs, and I'm afraid this would be considered custom code. CMSB was not designed for multiple admin levels in the manner that you've described here - it assumes that only one admin user type can create and grant access to other users.

The best I can do is refer you to consulting@interactivetools.com. We'll likely have to discuss how best to implement this, as it could be technically tricky.

Thanks Claire. No need to refer me to consulting I can work with the system as you have designed it to work. It has actually made me rethink the issue altogether: from now on when I create a CMSB website I will sell it with one user without admin access. I can offer additional users as a chargeable add on!

Okay, no problem, Jeff :) if you ever want to revisit this, just let us know. Good luck with the addons!
