Thanks for following up on this Damon.

That will certainly help.

Maybe you need to tighten up on folks ability to get posting credentials somehow.

I hope that opt in private messaging makes a return soon

I always thought the WordPress comment restriction of only allowing comments from users with a previously approved comment was a phenomenally good idea. Would people be interested in that kind of feature?

Hi Claire,

Wouldn't that make the process more work for IT staff and slow down the process of first posts for newbies.

Would working the concept of  "OR license ownership" into the mix work more efficiently?

Hi Jerry

It does make more work, up to a point, but it's a good compromise between preventing spam while also letting legitimate users comment normally. Useful in that you only need to approve a user once, and all their comments after that are automatically allowed through. And yeah, if you combine it with other identifying methods, it does get more efficient.

Another option would be to use Disqus or Livefyre if you want a completely hands-off solution.

Hi Claire,

Thanks again for keeping up with this.

A completely hands off solution would be great, but I'm not sure what you mean by Disquis or Livefyre since this is Interactive Tools form.

Hi Claire,

I'm sure that which ever solution you decide to go with will be the right choice.
