Space between form elements - Space between text area and listmenu

Hello,
Is there a way I can create more space between objects in a forms created in the section editor, as when i go and view them outside the admin area they are quiet close on top of each other.

I have tried adding a Unicode Character space between form elements, (section editor, modify, select my checkbox element) field description and the field prefix of a cheakbox but that didnt work. Is there a simple way of doing this or do I have to go into the css direct and do it there. ere I to do it there does this mean I need to always do this for future updates to the cms ?
