Hi Guys,
I ran in to a memory allocation error while attempting to view the php error log file within the CMS. It appears the page lists all errors that are present rather than a preset amount such as 25/50/100 per page.
I want to delete the file while waiting for a bug fix - Is this file located in the CMS root and can I delete it without causing problems to the CMS?
Thanks - nmsinc

Hi,
I generated some errors to try to recreate the issue. I have 182 error records in the Error Log but I'm only seeing the default 25 per page.
To get rid of all errors, you can use this URL:
http://example.com/cms/admin.php?menu=_error_log&action=clearLog
Does that work for you?
Also, can you send in a Support Request with the server details (don't post them here) so we can take a closer look?

Include a link to this forum post for reference.
Thanks!

Hi Damon,
It only happens when I reach 260 + errors!
I will send a support request!

Hi nmsinc,
What is max bytes exceeded shown on the memory limit error (I'm wondering what your memory limit is).
You can force the records per page with an url like this: admin.php?menu=_error_log&perPage=5
And then click "Reset" by search to reset any saved Per Page settings from the last time you viewed the list view.
Let me know if that works for you! Thanks.

Hi Dave,
I was able to clear the file using your suggestion. The links to check the log do not incorporate the number per page. Can I edit this somewhere?
I also included the error that is generated below:
E_ERROR: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1881643 bytes)
/home/claimsca/public_html/cmsAdmin/lib/viewer_functions.php (line 432)
/cmsAdmin/Admin.php?menu=_error_log
The last line (address cmsAdmin has been edited for security purposes - you already access to our server!
Thanks - nmsinc

HI nmsinc,
Can you email me the ticket # and/or CMS/FTP login details to dave@interactivetools.com (email only, don't post login details the forum) and I'll take a look.
Also, if you have any steps to reproduce could you let me know that as well?
It's really odd that it would show "all" the records, that section should be preset to only show 100 at a time.
Thanks!
