Hello,
There is a great plugin for WordPress called FacetWP (www.facetwp.com), which filters listings.
Could a plugin like this be built for cmsBuilder? Or is there already built-in code to offer this functionality?
My team have already written code for filtering listings in cmsBuilder but it's a mess and is causing server problems due to _SESSION files. I would really like to know the "official" way of filtering listings in a similar way to how FacetWP achieves this.

There's no built-in functionality to do this - it would have to be custom made. There is no official way of doing anything on the front end of CMSB, so it's really up to you! If you're having issues with the code you've already written for this, we could take a look at it through consulting.
