Login timeouts constantly

I am not sure if it's an issue with the newest version of CMSB (this is my first time using it) or the fact that I'm also using the membership plugin, but I am being logged out constantly after only a few minutes when I try and click on another page in CMSB. It's highly annoying! It seems to happen most frequently when I click between the main section and the membership plugin. Every single time I click to go into the MP I have to login again, even if it's made me do that a few minutes earlier

Could you double check that the date and time on your computer are set correctly? An incorrect data or time will usually break the login process like this.
If that checks out, could you test the site on a different computer?

My date and time are correct. I have the same issue on 3 different computers. My client is now experiencing the same issue as well. It's very frustrating because you will go to edit something within a section and by the time you have made the changes and you go to hit save, it logs you out and doesn't save so you lose any changes you have made.
For anyone else with this issue, the below has resolved the problem for me
I spoke to my web host and they identified that the root folder specified in CMSB was not correct (it pointed to the main site folder rather than specifically the CMS folder) and updating that stopped the issue with the cookies!
