Hi Damon/Steve ...
ISP are investigating. I can't perform a successful 'check status' feature from their CP on the specific database which suggests there is an issue with it, possibly corrupted?
If I need to create a new database is there any procedure I need to follow in order to get the cms working with it and getting the latest cms backup installed.
Could it be that the combined index that was probably listing around 20 to 30 events would be maxing out on the database server upload/connection limits?

No, this really shouldn't be an issue at all.
If you are on a shared server, it could be another site was experiencing high traffic or too many database requests.
