Image Rotation for Uploads and Wysiwyg

I've seen a number of forum topics on this issue, but never saw if anyone was able to come up with a solution.  I'm running into this more often now than in the past.

I saw one possible solution with setting the fix EXIF setting to true instead of false.  Maybe this will solve it.  I'm not sure.  What I'd really like is the ability to have the user rotate the image after upload.  Maybe a plug-in?  It looks like IT has created this for someone back in V2, but it's not generally available and doesn't seem to work in V3+ right now.

I saw another post about moxiemanager as maybe a way to solve it.

If anyone has a fool-proof way of solving this that will work in any of the 3.0+ versions, I sure would appreciate hearing about it.
