Hey all.
I build my sites on an IP address like 111.222.333.444/~account then go live by updating the DNS. However, a site that has been "staging" for some time is now showing up in google. Is there any way to block google on the staging ip address, but allow via the domain? As they are actually exactly the same so I don't want to add a noindex tag.

Hi Tim,
What about a robots.txt with a noindex in the root of the IP http://111.222.333.444/? Google would only see that when viewing the IP urls.
Or alternatively, an .htaccess 301 redirect in the /~account/ subfolder to redirect to the domain if the current url doesn't match the domain?
