301 redirect issue

Hi
I need to create a 301 redirect on an old post that is managed by cmsb to point to a page. But for some reason I cannot get it to work.
I can create redirects with any other page except a page that is managed by cmsb.
Is there a reason why CMSB is preventing my 301 redirect via .htaccess is not working?

Hi loccom,
.htaccess redirects should take effect before the php page is even called. If you want to rule out CMSB what you can do is create a static HTML page such as:
http://example.com/testPage.html?test=123
And figure out how to get that to redirect. If it still doesn't work check out these google links: https://www.google.com/search?q=htaccess+redirect+page+with+query+string
