Admin menu item not generating

I'm having trouble adding a menu item to the admin editor menu. I've used the creation tool to create the schema and table in our database, the new editor is accessible via direct link, but it is not showing as a menu item where it should be, or at all for that matter.
Any help would be very appreciated! Thanks!

Hi Ian,
It might be a caching issue at either the browser or server level. Is everything else updating except the links appearing on the menu?
Here are a few things to try:
- You could try doing a hard-refresh in your browser.
- Check current user has access to see all sections here:
- User Accounts > Select User > Section Access > All Sections > Editor

Ah! Not sure why the section access didn't come to mind. Just one of those days.
