Permalinks 403 when using code generator

Hi yea,when I nav to
CMS Setup > Code Generator > Permalinks
and click on
.htaccess code for redirecting requests

I get the following error
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access this resource.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I had asked the hosting co to disable/ whitelist ModSecurity 2 like some of my other sites
If anyone can give me some input I would be grateful

Hi Kenny,
Can you confirm whether or not your host was able to disable Modsecurity? If they have, could you contact them again to ask specifically about this error? This is likely a server-side error, and your host should have access to logs that can point to its cause. If your host is unable to help, you can send us a 2nd-level support ticket (https://www.interactivetools.com/support/request/) and we will see what we can find.
In the meantime, is this preventing you from using the Permalinks plugin? If so, let me know which version of the plugin you're using, and I can help get you set up with the proper .htaccess code.
