QRC Generator 1.02 Feature Request

I realize this was originally a user-submitted plugin and is now missing from the list.

Currently, this plugin generates the QR code every time it is invoked.

It would be great if Interactive tools updated and supported this plugin. 

The feature request is an option to write the QR code to the uploads directory for the record being edited in the editor. I am using it to generate a URL with the permalink, which will be printed on a label for an art gallery.
