There was an archived thread about Zickey Calendar and whether it worked with CMSB beyond 3.65 and PHP 8.

Has this been answered?

I have an install in a 3.65 CMSB and am about to update to 3.7 and PHP 8.

Need to know.

Hi, pgplast.

I have a Zickey Calendar running successfully on two sites with PHP 8.2.

This was a user-submitted plugin many years ago, so you'll probably want to backup your site and database prior to a PHP upgrade.

I have used the Zickey Calendar quite a while ago but cannot get it working on the most up-to-date CMS using PHP 8, has anyone got any working files they could share please?

I see there are some questions regarding Zickey Calendar and its compatibility with recent versions of CMSB and PHP 8.

For those having trouble getting the calendar to work, here is a script that functions with CMSB beyond version 3.65 and under PHP 8. I’m happy to share this script with you.

The script is written using functions, making it flexible and customizable to your specific needs. It is structured in a modular way to make it easier to use.

It is based on the calendar table structure from Zickey Calendar to make its usage simpler. However, the recurrence is not included (like events that repeat every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc.).
