I currently have a website built using a WYSIWYG editor and have it hosted with a Windows plan. Is it possible to install CMS builder in this scenerio. I have read from the forum there seems to be some problems with file permissions. feedback appreciated [:)]

Hi there!

Yep, CMS Builder works fine on both Windows & Linux -- in fact, we do our development in Windows... :)

The only catch with Windows accounts is that permissions *can* be a little bit twitchy, since they're not changed via FTP like Linux servers. 9 times out of 10, the default permissions are just fine, but that 10th instance can be a bit more annoying. That said, you'll either have a control panel where you can change permissions, or your hosting provider can do it for you, so it's generally not TOO much extra trouble. :)
