I installed the CMS builder. I am at the end of the setup. I am getting errors that my files / folders are not writable
I called my hosting company and the folders are set to 777

Can anyone help me?

Thanks

Hi clubd6,

I can check it out if you'd like. Just email me FTP login details and the CMS Builder url to dave@interactivetools.com (email, don't post login details to the forum).

There's probably an issue with what the permissions are set to and how they are displaying.

Let me know and I'll try to help! :)

Hi Pete,

I emailed you back. I changed the permissions and it seems to be working correctly now. Let me know if you need anything else.

Hi Pete,

I'm not sure. I just connected with FTP and the permissions didn't look set so I set them. Either the hosting company was mistaken or they got changed back.

Do you have an FTP program you can use that shows you the permissions and let's you change them?
