In Auto Backup Version 1.0, by default, backups are kept for 3 time periods. Daily backup for 3 days, Weekly backup for 3 weeks,. and monthly backups for three months. These default values can be modified by changing the code.
How has this changed in Version 1.01 and how are the hourly backups handled?
Thanks,
Jerry Kornbluth

you can find the changelog at the bottom of the page:
http://www.interactivetools.com/add-ons/detail.php?Auto-Backup-1003
New in Version 1.01
- Automatic hourly backups are now supported (up to 24 per day)
- Email Backups: Enter your email address to receive automatic backups via email
- Email Backups: Email backup files will automatically be compressed if supported by your server
So basically there is now a forth time period (hourly) and now you can have backups emailed to you. If you've previously purchased just click download to get the latest version.
Hope that helps! Let me know any additional questions.

I guess I really wanted to know how many hourly backups are saved by default, and if that number is changeable as well.
Has the default remained at 3 saved for the other categories?
Thanks

It works exactly the same as the other time formats. I think the default is 3 but you can set it up to 24.

It's pretty easy to use, I'd recommend giving it a try and experimenting a little bit so you really get the hang of it.
But yes, that's basically the new info.
Hope that helps!
