Problem accessing Admin Sections

After I log into the Administration Section and go to any of the Sections, listed above the Admin button, I can't access the menu again that are below the Admin button, the General Settings, Section Editors, Code Generator, and Plugins.

When my mouse pointer is over the Admin menu bar, the status bar says, javascrip:void(0). This only occurs when I use Firefox. I tried Internet Explorer and did not have the problem.

I did check and made sure that Javascript was enabled.

The only way I can access the menus under the Admin button after I go to one of the sections, is to log off or click on the Help or License link.

Re: [usnetpro] Problem accessing Admin Sections

Hi Usnetpro,

This probably isn't the answer, but a number of times when I've had issues with the Admin section, Dave recommended that I clear the Firefox browser Cache, and it almost always remedied the situation.

Hi,

I think Jerry is right. If everything works in Internet Explorer but not Firefox, it sounds like you need to clear the browser cache.

Hi usnetpro,

I once thought I had broken CMS Builder because the admin menu group wouldn't expand for me, but it was just because I had a LOT of menu groups and I didn't scroll down after clicking Admin (yes, I hadn't had my coffee that morning.)

If you're still having this problem, please fill out a Second Level Support Request including your CMS Builder URL, username, password, and a link to this forum thread. We can check it out and fix it for you.

OK I re-installed everything and now everything works again.

But I must admit that this error was a scary one!
