Client unable to update website

Hi there, I had my team setup CMS builder for a client site (CSAO.net).

Up until February the client, who is not very technical was able to update the site without issues.

However, as of late February they are unable to make any changes to the site.

They tell me that their cursor automatically goes to the top of the page and that if they try and type anything in a text field it will not save.

The client is using Internet Explorer.

I am able to make updates/edits for them but they woud like to know why they are longer able to update the site.

The program version is 1.33.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

James

Re: [Tom P] Client unable to update website

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the note.

I am using Google Chrome on a Mac and have had not tried with IE.

The client's computer is about 3 yrs old, they are vey non-technical so my guess is that it is an old version of IE.

I have asked them to try a different browser either Firefox or Chrome and will let you know their response.

What they are confused by is why it worked one day and then suddenly things stopped working.

Thanks Tom.

Best Regards,

James

Hi James,

Once we know what version of IE they were using and if they made any updates/installed any plugins to the browser it will help to identify what happened.

In situations like these it's a case of slowly narrowing the field, trying to recreate the error and, eventually, identifying the issue.

With that in mind, if you submit a second level support request https://www.interactivetools.com/support/email_support_form.php we can have a look at the site and cms installation directly and run some tests to see if we can recreate the issue.

Thanks,

Tom
