Client unable to update website

Hi there, I had my team setup CMS builder for a client site (CSAO.net).

Up until February the client, who is not very technical was able to update the site without issues.

However, as of late February they are unable to make any changes to the site.

They tell me that their cursor automatically goes to the top of the page and that if they try and type anything in a text field it will not save.

The client is using Internet Explorer.

I am able to make updates/edits for them but they woud like to know why they are longer able to update the site.

The program version is 1.33.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

James

Hello jjenkins75,

If you are able to make updates for them it sounds like an issue with their browser.

Can you make updates using IE and, if so, what version are you using? If your client is using an older (or newer) version, get them to try your version or a different browser (like Firefox or Chrome) and see what happens.

Let me know what happens,

Tom

Hi James,

Once we know what version of IE they were using and if they made any updates/installed any plugins to the browser it will help to identify what happened.

In situations like these it's a case of slowly narrowing the field, trying to recreate the error and, eventually, identifying the issue.

With that in mind, if you submit a second level support request https://www.interactivetools.com/support/email_support_form.php we can have a look at the site and cms installation directly and run some tests to see if we can recreate the issue.

Thanks,

Tom
