WYSIWYG problem

I am having a problem where we enter all the information in the editor and hit save and everything works perfect.

But if I go back into the same record, everything is there except the text I entered in the wysiwyg (description field).

But if I make a change and hit save it deletes the text stored in that field in the database.

We have multiple people adding product and editing fields on a daily basis and cannot have this problem! Help please :)

Thank you

Hi,

Can you submit a Support Request here with your CMS Builder login details and site FTP details:
https://www.interactivetools.com/support/email_support_form.php?priority=free

Then I can login and do some tests to determine what is happening and how to fix it.

Also include in your support request a link to this forum post for reference:

Thanks!

Hi James,

You are using CMS Builder version 2.00.

The WYSIWYG editor problem could be the Firefox 11 issue. In this version of Firefox, there is a bug that causes issues when there is more than one WYSIWYG editor on a editor page.

This issue is specific to Firefox 11 so login and test with another browser to see is this is the issue.

Is so, Firefox 12 is now out:
http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

and we will have CMS Builder 2.15 (with a fix for the FF issue) out next week. It is currently in beta testing.

If this isn't the issue, here are the instructions for upgrading:
http://www.interactivetools.com/docs/cmsbuilder/upgrade.html

You can get the latest version here:

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help and if you have any other questions.

Thanks!
