WYSIWYG Editor

I have just installed cmsBuilder 2.17 and the WYSIWYG field types do not display in any of my web browsers.
It's just a blank space. For example see the "Description" field in the attached screenshot.
I guess I am probably missing some files (tinymce?) but I have checked all the files and they appear to be in the correct place.
Can someone please help me out with this?
Thank you,
Greg

Try these steps:
- Remove any tinymce cache files from /cmsAdmin/data/, they look like this: tiny_mce_cache.a01362d97f45038dcde1b4293d755662.gz
- Reload the page a couple times, if the wysiwyg doesn't appear then...
- Re-upload the /cmsAdmin/3rdParty/tiny_mce/ folder.
If that doesn't work, let us know and we'll keep trying to help. Thanks!
Thanks
Greg

Thanks for your advice.
I didn't have any cache files but deleted the folder and uploaded it again and now it's working.
Thanks for the help!

My client is having the same problem. I was having this issue, so I followed the steps in the advice you posted and I can see the wysiwyg fields in Firefox, but not IE (running on Windows XP Professional). I then tried deleting the tiny_mce folder and replacing it with a more recent version. That solved the problem for me, but my client still can't see any wysiwyg fields in either browser, running on Windows 7. (When I click on the HTML icon in FF, I just get a blank, grey window without a field).
Any suggestions, please?
Thanks.

I'm not sure what the issue could be. Could you fill out a second level support request? You just need to fill out this form:
https://www.interactivetools.com/support/email_support_form.php
Then I can take a closer look at what might be causing the issue.
Thanks!
