Hi Jac,

Thanks for your feedback.

We've been talking about different ideas to help people get up to speed with CMSB quicker, such as a documentation wiki, or a sample site with content that came with CMSB, or more tutorials, but right now what we have are the online docs and the forum.

But because of the way CMSB works, how it lets you create anything, there's an unlimited number of things people are going to want to build with it, and we can't help everybody.  A contact form or shopping cart, for example, aren't things that CMS Builder does, even though people have built those using CMSB as a foundation.  Really what they're doing is custom PHP programming, and using CMSB to speed it up.

So CMSB is designed to help non-programmers do a lot of what used to be possible for only programmers, and then for the really advanced stuff, to make it easier for programmers or people learning PHP to do.

The simple code tutorial you want is any code tutorial is any tutorial on PHP or MySQL.  CMS Builder just automates a lot of the basics so you don't have to know much about it, but as you get more advanced (as you probably are after building sites for 6 years) that's the next step.  When we say we can do it through consulting in the forum, what we're basically saying is that unfortunately CMSB doesn't have that feature built in and the next step is to code it yourself or hire someone to do it.

But I do appreciate your feedback, and we will give it some thought as to how to make things simpler as we continue to add features.

Thanks!
