Send newsletters and confirmation mail in plain text

Hi,

I'd like to know if there is a way to send newsletters and confirmation mail in plain text.

Some subscribers have difficulty clicking the confirmation link to complete subscription on their mobile phones.

I thought that it might be because it is sent by html format.

Can I just change the wysiwyg to text box?

Hi Hiroko,

I routinely change WYSIWYG fields to text boxes, because the WYSIWYG fields sometimes cause more trouble for me then the flexibility they afford.

That won't change the mail format to plain text, but it probably won't hurt.

That said, I found this article that looked interesting and may help.

I personally don't know a lot about the intricacies of email and mobile devices, but a Google search for: problems clicking on links on mobile devices, returns a lot of information.
