CMSB Log Off Issue

Hi All,

The inability to log off of CMSB (back end) has been mentioned on the forum before, but I couldn’t find a solution in any of the posts I found.

I’m running V3.06 and my client’s laptop is running Windows 7 (yes I know, but the accounting software that her company uses won’t work without it) and Internet Explorer 11.

A few days ago I logged into CMSB on her laptop, and using the logoff link above the nav menu, I was unable to log out, until I manually destroyed all CMSB cookies on her machine.

Has anyone experienced the same kind of thing?

Thanks,

Jerry Kornbluth

Hey Jerry,

When we've seen this issue before, it's normally because the CMS Builder installation is linked to two different domains. Is this installation running on more than one domain?

Also, is this issue only happening on her computer, or have you noticed it on other browsers and operating systems as well?

Cheers,

Greg

Hi Greg,
One domain and so far only her computer.

Hey Jerry,

Please could you send an email to support@interactivetools.com with the CMS and FTP login details for the site? Then I can take a closer look at what might be causing the issue.

Cheers,

Greg

Any further comment or update on this issue? I'm seeing at least one install where pages are being cached and not properly refreshed from the server. Was wondering if there might be some connection.

Hi Damon,
If that was a question for me. (probably not though...)
The answer is that there's nothing like that in the .htaccess file.
Thanks for looking at this again.

Hi Jerry,

That was a reply to Jayme's post.

Did Greg resolve your issue through support? Can you reply with the Ticket number so I can take a look into what may be happening?

Thanks!

Cheers,

Hi Damon,

I haven't heard anything more from my client, so I'm not going to press the issue.

If she contacts me about it again, I'll reopen the question.

Thanks to all for your efforts.
