Branding

CMS Builder can be “private labeled”, allowing you to present the program under your own branding. The Branding page lets you re-brand CMS Builder in just a few seconds.

  • Present CMS Builder as your own solution
  • Be the complete provider for all your clients’ needs

The Branding link appears under the Admin Menu when your license allows sublicensing. Open it, update the fields below, and save.

Once you change the Vendor Name, the Branding link is no longer displayed in the menu, so that your clients won’t know this is private label software. Bookmark the page’s URL before making changes:

http://www.example.com/cmsb/admin.php?menu=admin&action=branding

You might have already re-branded the software, which removes the link so that your client won’t find the interface.

If you need to change any of the values after changing the vendor, add ?menu=admin&action=branding to the end of the program URL in your address bar (after admin.php). The legacy ?menu=admin&action=vendor URL still works as well.

Program Name / Titlebar

The program name that is displayed in the browser titlebar and throughout the application.

Header Image URL

The URL to the program logo image.

Help URL

The URL that the “Help” link in the top corner links to.

HTML displayed in the program’s page footer.

Color / Theme

Selects the program’s color theme from the theme*.css files in /cmsb/3rdParty/clipone/css/. The page previews the theme live as you change the selection. You can add your own CSS themes to that directory.

Vendor Name

The name of the Vendor. Displayed throughout the program and on the license agreement.

Changing the Vendor Name removes sublicensing permission from the license agreement (and hides the Branding link from the menu, as noted above).

Sublicensing

A read-only status row showing whether licensees may sublicense the software licensed to them from the current vendor.

Vendor Location

The location of the Vendor. Displayed in the license agreement in this context: “Any disputes arising out of this license shall be adjudicated in a court of competent jurisdiction in location.”

Vendor Url

The URL of the Vendor. The Vendor Name, displayed throughout the program and on the license agreement, will link to this URL.
